Book Review: Occupational Biomechanics Fourth Edition
This fourth edition of the Occupational Biomechanics, a classic text and reliable resource book in the field of ergonomics and biomechanics, offers several hundred new references and illustrations. The additional material extensively facilitates the understanding of the content. The fourteen Chapters of this book cover all you want to know about occupational ergonomics and biomechanics. As the difference between occupational ergonomics and biomechanics is difficult to establish the book can equally be used as a textbook for both occupational ergonomics and biomechanics. The text is really easy to understand and the complex concepts are well explained. Several appendices such as glossary measurement tables and check lists facilitate the reader’s task. Beyond all students of ergonomics and biomechanics, this excellent book written by the most prominent authors in the field is a must have for all professionals in this field.
