HSSE 2016 - The 4th International Conference on The Human Side of Service Engineering
Affiliated Conferences in AHFE 2016 – the 7th International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics
Human Factors and HCI/UX professionals contribute in many ways to the provision of services to the world. From designing interfaces that people can navigate and succeed with (regardless of cultural background) to assessing how service delays, errors, and mishaps are related to systems interfaces or the user’s expectations or capabilities, we are engaged in almost every dimension related to providing smooth, successful, and memorable service experiences. These services happen in service providing organizations like medical treatment facilities, entertainment venues, transportation systems, government organizations, and hundreds of other service providing sectors of our economy. They involve information systems, service professionals, equipment, and organizational design and management.
HSSE 2016 seeks contributed papers, sessions, and session tracks in the ways in which Human Factors and Ergonomics influence the quality, content, and outcome of the user experience. How does human factors contribute to the delight of the customer or user.
The conference is offering a cash prize for best paper, although presentations that are “slides only” are acceptable.
